I think this post could be very misleading and mis information. I met with the owner Miguel on 2 occasions this week.

The situation according to the owner is that the final building licence has not been approved and that is why it is not for sale.

To say the resort development is a fraud is libelous because this is not what it is, and creates bad press without necessarily fact. The licence has been asked for 18 months now, and has been promised on a number of occasions.

The payment schedules are incorrect on your posting. As a background Mr Montaner has been in land development for over 20 years, with lawyers in Bulgaria that are on the anti corruption team in Varna. All the transactions when the licence will be granted will all be clean. ie. No black money.

Personally having meet the owner on 2 occasions, he is a pleasant man with zero thoughts of one doing anything illegal.

I along with 20+ people are currently fighting a law suit against Miguel Montaner in his home town in Costa Blanca Spain.

This man is a FRAUDSTER he has stolen our money which is in excess of 1.5 million euros using the same horrible scam.

Hi Rhubarbs, on the deposit that he has collected from my client, I am now refunding out of my pocket as Miguel Montaners organisation refuses to pay back to the client.

I have tried with personal visits, debt collectors and now like you am on to the lawyers to get my own money back!

If he has committed fraud in Spain, then I think you have to make him go down and pay his dues in the jails. His office has now been turned into a lap dancing club.

The irritating thing is he is , or was a wealthy guy. But let us make sure other people dont get scammed.

I am glad we used a high level legal expert in Bulgaria to stop my client paying over more money (again I paid for this out of my money, as the local bulgarian lawyer said it was fine to make a larger payment.)

Harsh lesson, dont believe what people tell you. Get good experts to do the legal checks. The rule of law does not seem as strong in bulgaria as in the other EU states.
